A lovely pair of German brass reading lamps dating from the early 20th century. They are an elegant design with a three footed base and a stylised arched arm. The brass has heavily tarnished over time giving an attractive dark almost bronzed patina. The shades are not included with the lamps and are for display only.
They have been rewired to modern standards and take a standard bayonet bulb.
The lamps are in good original condition. There are some small marks and scratches around the base and some minor signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. They are very heavy and good quality and display beautifully.
