A good quality and very decorative oil painting of a young boy which has been attributed to Carl Felkel (1896 - 1980). It is a half-length seated portrait and is painted on canvas. It has been re-framed recently in a good quality wooden frame with a gilt edge and inner maroon frame which really brings out the detail and colour in the painting.
The painting is in good original condition. There are signs of age and some minor surface marks but nothing detrimental and overall it displays well. The frame is in very good condition. The painting has been lightly cleaned and is ready to hang.
