A good example of a large Newlyn school copper charger in the manner of John Pearson, dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. It features a central embossed galleon ship with sunburst motif to the sails and a border of fish and waves.
The quality is superb and it is in good original condition with no major damages. There are signs of age and use, some small dinks and minor surface marks but nothing untoward and it displays beautifully.
