A good example of an oak coffee table by Robert "Mouseman" Thompson of Kilburn, dating from the 1950s. It has a rectangular top with an adzed one piece top and rounded edges. It stands on four carved faceted baluster legs joined by stretchers with a well carved trademark mouse on one of the legs.
It is in good condition with a lovely rich colour and patina. There are a few old stains and marks on the top surface and a couple of minor knocks around the base but no major damages and it is strong and sturdy. It has been cleaned and given a light polish and displays well.
