A fine example of a beautifully hand painted Moorcroft bowl. The dish displays very well and is unmistakably Moorcroft. The pattern is set on a deep blue background and shows a beautiful tubelined flower in shades of red amongst green leaves.
The bowl has its original paper label 'Potter to the Late Queen Mary'. This dates the piece to between 1950-1978.
The bowl is in excellent condition and is a good example of an early Moorcroft piece. There are no chips, cracks or restoration and the colours are bright and vibrant. There are some light internal surface marks but nothing major and it displays well.
