A good example of a large antique Sterling Silver sugar bowl with two handles. It is decorated with beautiful repousse foliate decoration and two vacant cartouches and gadrooned detail. The bowl is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 303g.
It is clearly hallmarked for London, 1897 and the maker W&C Sissons.
It is in very good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks, small dinks and signs of age and use but nothing detrimental and it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
