A large triple plate overmantel mirror dating from the early 19th Century. The mirror has a beautiful gilded frame with each section flanked by columns with acanthus leaf decoration. It has an overhanging top with applied ball decoration and a central shell motif.
The mirror is in good condition and the gilding is fresh and bright. It has suffered some minor losses and small knocks over the years but nothing detrimental and it still displays well. The mirror has been lightly cleaned and is ready to hang.
