A good example of a large gilt table lamp, dating from the early to mid 20th century. It is made from carved wood with a beautiful gilded finish. It stands on a round base with three feet and an ornate column with carved shell and leaf motifs.
It has been PAT tested and rewired to modern standards to take a standard bayonet bulb (bulb not included).
It is in good condition and displays well. There are some minor areas of wear and paint loss but nothing detrimental and it is strong and sturdy with a lovely aged patina.
