A lovely antique tailor's / outfitter's shop mirror dating from the late 19th Century. It has a thick rounded bullnose mahogany frame with a lovely rich colour and patina. It has its original mirror plate which has some minor age marks and spotting but nothing detrimental and it has its original panelled back.
It was likely used in a department store or tailors and is typical of that design and style. The large proportions make it very useful and suitable for many purposes including an overmantel mirror.
It is in good condition for its age and displays well. There are a few small marks around the frame but no major damages. It has been lightly cleaned and is ready for use.
