A good example of a large Jefferson moonstone pendant light dating from the early 20th Century. It has a beautiful thick opaque pressed glass shade in an attractive fluted design and it comes with its original copper gallery with an unusual hinged fixing.
The light is in good condition with no major damages. There are a few light surface marks on the shade and some tarnishing on the gallery but nothing detrimental. The fixing pin to hold the hinged gallery shut has likely been replaced but it does the job well.
It has been rewired to modern standards with a hanging bayonet bulb holder on a braided flex but it could also hang over an existing hanging bulb. We would always recommend that the light is checked and installed by a professional electrician.
