A beautiful antique french mirror dating from the mid to late 19th Century. It is a traditional arched Louis Philippe style with a gilt gesso frame, beaded border and lovely floral highlighted decoration.
It is in good original condition for its age with a sturdy boarded back and its original glass. The gilding is bright with lovely red undertones. There are some minor knocks and chips around the edges on the frame but nothing detrimental and it displays beautifully.
