A lovely antique French farmhouse table which has been reduced in height at some point to make a fantastic coffee table. It dates from the mid 19th century and has a chestnut planked top with square legs and a small drawer at both ends.
The table has a lot of character and a lovely patina. There are some old surface marks and signs of age and use and some old repairs but it is a very solid and sturdy piece. There are signs of historic worm in the legs and the drawers which has all been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected the table structurally or aesthetically. It has been cleaned and gently polished to retain its patina and is ready for use.
