A beautiful gilt picture frame dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. It has an intricate carved wood and gesso frame with ornate corner pieces and shell motifs. It is ready to be used again as a frame or it could be fitted with a mirror.
The frame is in good original condition and the gilding is bright and vibrant. There are some minor damages and small losses around the edges of the frame but nothing detrimental. It has been lightly cleaned and is ready for use.
