A good example of a solid silver Georgian needle case decorated with engraved leaves and foliate. It is hallmarked SP for the maker Samuel Pemberton which dates it to circa 1807 - 1819.
It is in very good condition for its age. There are some small dinks and minor surface marks and general signs of age and use but no major damages and it displays well. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
