Product Details
A good example of an 18th Century Georgian Sterling Silver meat skewer. It has a ring handle with a decorative shell shaped collar below and an engraved eagle crest.
The skewer is good quality and made from a heavy gauge silver, weighing approximately 129g. It is clearly hallmarked for London, 1764, and the maker J.J (possibly James Jones).
It is in good condition with a clear hallmark and there are no major damages. There are some faint surface scratches and a few light marks but nothing detrimental and it displays beautifully. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
