A nice example of an 18th Century Sterling Silver marrow scoop. It is stylish and good quality with a simple design and an engraved family crest.
It is clearly hallmarked for London, 1796 and the maker William Eley & William Fearn. It weighs approximately 56g.
It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
