Product Details

A good example of a Georgian Solid Silver tea caddy spoon with a distinctive large shovel shaped spoon and short handle. The end of the handle is engraved with what look like the initials JJ. The spoon is good quality, weighing approximately 17g and measuring approximately 3 3/4" (9.5cm) long.

It is clearly hallmarked for London, 1834 and the makers Joseph & Albert Savory.
It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays well. There are some faint surface scratches and a few light marks and dinks here and there but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
