A lovely oak tilt-top table dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century. It is a good size with a circular planked top set on a turned baluster support with tripod splayed legs. It has its original wooden closing latch and is strong and sturdy.
It is in good condition for its age. There are signs of age and use, a few minor marks and a few old repairs but no major damages or anything detrimental. The whole piece has a beautiful rich patina and is a lovely honest piece of country furniture.
