A charming country oak side table with single drawer dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century. It has a planked top and stands on narrow square tapering legs. The drawer has brass swan neck handles and a brass escutcheon.
It is in good original condition and the oak has a lovely rich colour and patina. It is strong and sturdy and the drawer opens smoothly. There are normal signs of age and use but no major damages. There are some old marks and knocks and small splits here and there but nothing detrimental or untoward and it is a good honest little table. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
