A lovely oak lowboy of small proportions dating from the late 18th Century. It has an over-hanging top with moulded edge set on cabriole legs with pad feet. It has two small drawers, each with its original brass drop handle, above a nicely shaped frieze.
It is in good condition for its age with a lovely colour and patina. There are signs of age and use and some old stains and marks on the top but nothing detrimental. There has been a small repair to the tip of one foot but the table is strong and sturdy and displays well. There are some signs of historic woodworm in places but it hasn't affected the table aesthetically or structurally and it has all been treated as a precaution. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
