Georgian Oak Hanging Corner Cupboard
A good quality oak corner cupboard dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century. It has an unusual outward pointing front with two panelled doors and brass escutcheons. The doors open to a shelved interior with three shaped shelves and it comes with its original working key.
It is in good condition with a wonderful rich patina. The hinges have been replaced at some point but suit the piece well and are strong and sturdy. There are of course signs of age and use, some old knocks and marks and a minor old split in the top cornice (see photo) but no major damages and overall it displays well. It has been cleaned and lightly polished and is ready for use.
