A good quality mahogany tray top commode dating from the late 18th century / early 19th Century. It has a pull out bachelor's slide above a large cupboard with two doors and there is a drawer below. It stands on four square chamfered legs with a raised tray top gallery.
It is in good condition for its age and is strong and sturdy with a lovely patina. There are signs of age and use, some light marks and knocks but nothing detrimental and overall it displays well. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
