A superb Georgian mahogany tilt-top wine table with a turned support set on tripod splayed legs. It has a circular top made from a single piece of mahogany with a raised lip around the edge. It has a lovely rich colour and is strong and sturdy with a good level top. The tilting mechanism is smooth with a strong catch.
It is in good condition for its age and displays well. There are some signs of age and use, a few small surface marks and an old repair to a small chip in the rim but nothing detrimental and there are no major damages. It has been gently polished and is ready for use.
