A lovely Georgian mahogany tilt-top table dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century. It has a circular mahogany top standing on a turned baluster support with tripod splayed legs. It has a lovely rich colour and is strong and sturdy with a good level top. The tilting mechanism is smooth with a strong catch.
It is in good condition for its age and displays well. There are some minor signs of age and use, a few small surface marks and light knocks but nothing detrimental. There are some old repairs to the legs but it is strong and sturdy. It has been gently polished and is ready for use.
