Product Details

A good quality Georgian mahogany tilt-top table dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century. It has a circular mahogany top standing on a turned baluster support with tripod splayed legs and pad feet. It has a lovely rich colour and is strong and sturdy with a good level top. The tilting mechanism is smooth with a strong catch.

It is in good condition for its age and displays beautifully. There are some minor signs of age and use, a few small surface marks, light knocks and old stains but nothing detrimental and it has a lovely patina. There have been a couple of old repairs to the legs but it is strong and sturdy and there are no major damages. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
