A good Georgian mahogany chest of drawers dating from the early 19th Century. It has five long drawers, each with brass swan neck handles and brass escutcheons and it stands on bracket feet. It is a good quality piece with a lovely rich colour to the timbers.
It is in good original condition. There are signs of age and use, some minor marks on the top and a few small knocks but nothing untoward or detrimental. The drawers are generally clean and tidy and all open smoothly. It has been cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
