A good Georgian mahogany chest of drawers dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century. There are two short over three long drawers, each with their original brass swan neck handles and it stands on bracket feet. It is a very good quality piece with oak drawer linings and a lovely rich colour to the timbers.
It is in good original condition. There are signs of age and use, some minor knocks and marks and an old repaired shrinkage split to one side but nothing untoward or detrimental and it displays well. The drawers are generally clean and tidy and all open smoothly. It has been cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
