A good Georgian mahogany chest of drawers dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century. It has four long drawers, each with brass swan neck handles and it stands on bracket feet. It is a very good quality piece with solid mahogany drawer fronts, oak linings and a lovely rich colour to the timbers.
It is in good original condition. There are signs of age and use, some minor marks on the top, a small split and a few knocks around the feet but nothing untoward or detrimental. The handles are not original but suit the piece well. The drawers are generally clean and tidy and all open smoothly. It has been cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
