A lovely mahogany chest of drawers dating from the early 19th Century. They have nice small proportions with a flat front and they stand on bracket feet. It offers plenty of storage with four long drawers and each drawer has small ornate brass pull handles.
It is in very good condition for its age with a beautiful colour and patina. The drawers open well, having recently had the runners restored and are generally clean and tidy inside, having been lined with paper at some point. There are the usual signs of wear and use, some minor old marks and knocks, some light wear to the finish and an old shrinkage split on one side but nothing untoward and it displays well.
