Product Details

A lovely Georgian tilt-top table dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century made from Fruitwood. It has a circular planked top standing on a turned gun barrel support with tripod splayed legs.

It is in good condition for its age and is strong and sturdy with a good level top. There are some signs of age and use and various surface marks and knocks but nothing detrimental and this has all helped to develop a lovely patina. The top has naturally faded over time and is lighter than the base but it still displays well. There are some signs of historic worm in the base which has all been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected the table structurally or aesthetically. The table has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
