A large fretwork wall mirror dating from the early 19th century. It has an intricate carved mahogany frame with cushioned border and gilt slip, topped with a gilt phoenix and inlaid shell motif to the bottom. It has its original bevelled glass with a lovely patina showing signs of age spots and some foxing.
It is in good condition for its age and displays well. There are some signs of age and use and a couple of old repairs to the top crest but no major damages or anything detrimental. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready to hang.
