Product Details

A fine example of a Georgian silver teapot with lobed design ornately decorated with foliage and leaves and a floral finial. It has a silver handle with ivory insulators and a hinged lid.

It is hallmarked on the main body and below the lid for London, 1822 and the maker Rebecca Emes & Edward Barnard. The hallmark on the main body is worn and partly rubbed but the same below the lid is clear.

It is an excellent quality piece and it weighs approximately 782g.

It is in good condition for its age and displays beautifully. There have been some repairs to the handle but it is strong and sturdy and there are no major damages to the teapot itself. There are some minor surface marks, small dinks and knocks but nothing detrimental.
