A lovely golden oak open bookcase dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. It is a simple design set on small bracket feet with reeded detail flanking the open front. It has three shelves with matching reeded detail on the fronts. The position of the shelves are adjustable and there are side holders that can be moved up and down on grooves.
It is in good condition for its age and the oak has developed a wonderful warm patina. It is not without some minor knocks and marks and there is a small old patched repair on the front (see photo) but nothing detrimental or untoward. It has been cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
