A beautiful solid ash chest of drawers dating from late 19th Century. It is a good large size and offers plenty of storage. Each drawer has Arts and Crafts style brass handles with matching escutcheons and the ash has a lovely warm colour.
It is in very good condition for its age. Each drawer is generally clean and tidy and opens and closes smoothly. There are signs of age and use with some light surface marks and knocks and a couple of old stains on the top surface (see photos) but overall it displays well. It has been cleaned and given a gentle wax polish and is ready for use.
