Product Details

A good quality Art Deco sterling silver cruet set in its original fitted case. The set consists of a pair of pepper shakers, a pair of salt dishes with spoons and a lidded mustard pot with spoon. The mustard pot and salt dishes have their original glass liners. The set has a very distinctive Art Deco influence with square angular design and clean lines.

Every individual piece is hallmarked for Birmingham, 1933, William Neale & Son Ltd. The total weight of silver is approximately 217g.

Each piece is in very good condition. There are some minor signs of age and use and there are some faint surface marks and a few light scratches and small dinks but nothing detrimental.
The box is good quality with a silk lid lining, marked with the retailer's name "Bowden & Sons, 72 George St Plymouth", and a fitted velvet base. The outer of the case is not without some minor signs of age and use and small scuffs to the corners but overall it displays very well.
