A lovely brass reading lamp dating from the mid 20th century. It is an elegant design with a three footed base and a stylised arched arm. It is a good quality piece with a very heavy weighted base.
It has been rewired to modern standards and takes a standard bayonet bulb.
The lamp is in good condition. There are some small marks and knocks around the base and some minor signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. The brass has tarnished in places and it has been lightly cleaned and polished to retain its patina.
