Antique Vintage Brass Hexagonal Glass Lantern
Good example of a brass framed hall lantern, dating from the early to mid 20th century. It has small round brass feet and also a chain for hanging. It is a simple hexagonal design with plain panels of glass and subtle detail around the top of the brass frame and curving brass arms joining to make the finial.
It has a single suspended bulb holder which has been re-wired and takes a standard bayonet bulb. We always recommend fitting by a competent electrician.
Approximate Measurements:
Height : 15" (38cm)
Diameter : 7" (18cm)
The lantern is in good original condition with no major damages. The brass has tarnished slightly in places and developed a nice aged patina and it dsplays very nicely. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
