A lovely antique inkwell modelled as a figure of an owl. It is made of spelter with glass eyes. The head is hinged and opens to reveal its original white ceramic inkwell inside. It is good quality and well modelled with lots of detail.

It is in good condition for its age. There is some wear to the spelter near the top of one wing and the surface has rubbed to a few small holes (See photo). The hinge has been strengthened at some point and works very well. There are light signs of age and use but no major damages and it displays very nicely.
