A beautiful refectory table with a thick twin-plank Ash top dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. It has an oak base with shaped end supports and sleigh feet joined by a pegged stretcher. The top has mellowed to a lovely colour and it has a wonderful grain and patina. It is likely that the base dates later than the top but the two sit together beautifully as a table.
It is a very sturdy table and it is in good condition for its age. There are signs of age and use and some surface marks but no major damages and overall it displays very well. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
