Product Details
A superb English sycamore bowl dating from the early to mid 19th century. It has been turned from a single piece of wood and decorated with double incised lines.
It has a rich natural colour and has developed a beautiful patina through many years of use with old score marks in the bottom - perhaps used for chopping herbs at one point. It has a naturally imperfect shape with a slightly uneven rim which adds to its character.
It is in good solid order with no cracks or damages. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
