Product Details

A good quality technical drawing set dating from the early to mid 20th Century. The fitted velvet lined interior contains various steel instruments and accessories. The padded silk lining in the lid lifts up to reveal a section behind for storing paper or flat instruments. The lining is marked with the maker's / retailer's name : "Albert E Mallandaine. Instrument Maker. 51 Cheapside. London E.C"

The whole set is in good condition for its age. It has obviously been well looked after and all the instruments are in good condition. All of the instruments appear to be original and seem to fit in the sections apart from one which seems a bit small but it still displays well. There is some minor wear and light tarnishing / rust on some of the metal parts but nothing detrimental. The case is in good condition with just some light scuffs and marks around the edges.
