A good example of an antique Sterling Silver vesta case. It is decorated all over with a pretty scrolling pattern around a circular cartouche on one side. It has a hinged lid and a ribbed base for striking.
It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1908. It is good quality and well made, weighing approximately 39g.
It is in good condition with a clear hallmark. There are no major damages and it displays well. There are signs of age and use and some faint surface marks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
