A good example of an antique silver stamp box. It stands on four feet and has a hinged lid. The interior is gilded and has two sloped stamp compartments.
It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1913 although the makers mark is slightly rubbed. It weighs approximately 28g.
It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. The are signs of age and use and a few small dinks and dents and some faint surface marks but overall it displays well. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
