A good example of an antique Sterling Silver sauce or gravy boat. It is a stylish piece with a rope twist border, an elegant curved handle and three hoofed feet. It is a good quality piece, weighing approximately 113g.
It is clearly hallmarked for Chester, 1901 and the maker William Aitken.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and some minor signs of age and use but nothing detrimental and it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
