A good example of a solid silver pencil holder. It is beautifully decorated with engraved leaves and foliate and there is a small loop on the end for attaching to a fob chain or chatelaine. It even comes with a pencil!
It is clearly hallmarked for Chester, 1915 and the maker Villiers & Jackson.
It is in very good condition for its age. There are some small dinks and minor surface marks and general signs of age and use but no major damages and it displays well. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
