A good example of a large antique solid silver footed bowl. It is stylish and good quality with a shallow dish, a short round foot and lobed detail around the rim.
It is clearly hallmarked for London, 1934 and the makers Searle & Co. The makers name is also stamped on the underside of the foot. It weighs approximately 479g.
It is in excellent condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks, minor signs of age and use and some minor dinks but nothing detrimental. It has been cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
