A lovely antique silver notebook, complete with a pencil and a small pad of paper. It is excellent quality with engine turned decoration and a vacant round cartouche. The hinge is styled as a book spine and it has a small ring which was most likely made to be attached to a lady's chatelaine.
It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1903, although the maker's mark is slightly rubbed.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some general signs of age and use and some small dinks and light surface marks but nothing detrimental and no major damages and overall it displays very well.
