A beautiful abalone shell dish mounted on a silver frame and base. The natural shape of the shell is reflected in the frame and the foot is weighted for stability.
It is hallmarked for Birmingham, 1906 and the maker C.E.Williams.
It is in good condition for its age and the shell has a beautiful natural shine. The base has picked up some minor dents and dinks and small surface marks but overall it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
