A good example of a large antique solid silver cream or milk jug. It is stylish and good quality with an angular handle and wide shaped spout.
It is hallmarked for Chester, 1926 and the maker Barker Bros. The hallmark is slightly rubbed but still readable. It weighs approximately 146g.
It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and minor signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and displays beautifully.
