A good example of an antique Sterling Silver milk or cream jug. It is a small petite size with an elegant scrolling handle, wavy rim and three shaped feet. The jug is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 43g.
It is hallmarked for Birmingham, 1926 and the maker James Woods & Sons. The mark is slightly rubbed but still readable.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and light signs of use but nothing detrimental and it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
